Since yesterday, I have been wearing short sleeves and don't need to cover myself with a blanket when sleeping. It feels comfortable. The days of spring blossoms truly bring peace of mind.
Due to medication-induced brain trauma, I experienced brain fog, had difficulty speaking, often forgot words, and even suffered from face blindness...
Back in high school, my memory was something I was proud of. I always believed that my communication skills were above average.
Now I clearly feel some obstacles in reading and language. The biggest harm to the brain is medication, followed by sleep disorders and disturbances. Friends who exercise know that after working out, there are minor muscle strains, and only with adequate nutrition and sleep can the body repair itself and become stronger.
The brain is similar to muscles. If you constantly strain your brain, take medication, and don't provide it with enough nutrition and sleep, then toxins accumulate more and more, and it's strange not to have nerve issues.
Identifying problems, analyzing problems, and most importantly, solving problems are crucial.
Since the brain is similar to muscles, can we use muscle training methods to rehabilitate the brain? The answer is yes. If we study mathematics diligently for years, we will develop a mathematical brain; if we write tirelessly, we will develop a writer's brain; if we constantly watch short videos on TikTok, we will develop a brain that seeks short-lived stimulation.
I want to regain a smart brain, at least one that can enjoy reading and have a healthy ability to express myself.
In addition to yoga and exercise, writing a diary is one of my healing methods. A person with a confused mind cannot be considered excellent or achieve much. Therefore, it is necessary to organize, restore order and logic. You have to write down each word; you have to speak slowly. When you have to think clearly to express yourself, and to make others understand, you must understand the ins and outs of events, analyze the pros and cons, argue points, and summarize.
Going off track. Writing a diary is simple, just write it like a journal. Write about what happened today, what you did, what you saw, heard, thought, what others said, their expressions and attitudes...
If you want to know your level of thinking and cognition, don't be an armchair critic, make predictions. Predict the future development and results based on a certain event or situation, don't rely solely on intuition, use methods of reasoning and judgment. Of course, it's okay if you don't have it for now. Just keep predicting.
The more you predict, the more data you have. How many were correct, which ones were wrong. What aspects are you good at analyzing and predicting, and which ones you have no clue about, the world simply ignores your thoughts and judgments.
The above are personal opinions and thoughts, without any literary basis. Write it down, consider it a chat with yourself, or just a blog post.
